 4th of July Parade ' kiwanis international The 15th Annual American Graffiti Festival
North Modesto Kiwanis is excited to host the City's 15th Annual American Graffiti Festival....... one of Modesto's greatest traditions! This year we also celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the movie American Graffiti. Friday night, George Lucas himself will be our honored guest. We are thrilled to announce that he will be this year's Parade Grand Marshall! Head downtown Friday night, find a spot to call your own, and take in the car parade. Hundreds of Classic Cars will be cruising before you! (Parade Participation Restricted to Registered Entrants Only) Whether you are a car owner or spectator, please plan to join us the entire weekend. What is coming up after American Graffiti Festival weekend? We are anticipating another great year for our annual CASA Golf Tournament. This is an amazing event established to raise funds for the Friends of CASA of Stanislaus County, benefiting Foster & Dependent Children. The North Modesto Kiwanis Club is a part of Kiwanis International, a global organization of volunteers dedicated to making a difference in the world, one community and one child at a time. The North Modesto Kiwanis Club performs many community service projects primarily in Modesto and the surrounding Stanislaus County area to help serve and benefit children. Our largest event, the annual American Graffiti Festival, raises funds which enable us to continue to give support to the 40 plus programs we contribute to in and around the Modesto community, as well as giving to many of the additional requests we receive annually.
